The Kit Shop is just getting
under way with the recent delivery of our new Association
beret's. There soon will be Regimental crests, ties and other
accoutrements available for you to purchase. Len Wohlgemuth is
the Chairman of the Kit Shop and if you want to contact him you

The beret you see was months in
the making. The first shipment we received were the wrong color.
We have now worked with the supplier and found the appropriate
color. Why this color? What is your guess? Check below for the
answer.
Update - As you can see the right
beret is now in. As a result of kind donations from our
Member's, The City of New Westminster and the Italian community
with the Roma Hall, the berets were fully paid for.
Beret
Answer - The Lincoln Green color is what the patch was
for the 4th Infantry Division in WWI and the Maroon backing
of the badge is the 5th Armoured Division color in WWII.
Both colors are significant to the Regiment's history in
both wars.

June 2007 - For Associatin members, to get
your beret, FREE, you can drop by the Museum
of The Royal Westminster Regiment and pick it up. The museum
is open Tuesday & Thursday from 10am to 2pm. You can call
the museum to arrange an appointment if you wish.

If you live out of
town, you must supply your hat size or the measurement of
your head, send in $5.00 for postage to the Association post
box and a beret will be mailed to you.
