Freedom of the District of Matsqui The following photographs are courtesy of Keith Gillis. How many of you remember this day? Freedom parade, followed by greeting the Queen at the Abbotsford Airport followed by a mad dash back to New Westminster to greet the Queen at City Hall. She must have thought we had a 200 member Regiment! May 1971
This is a Matsqui Police officer standing on the road halting the Regiment. (Looks like he is saluting Adolf!)
LCol Leslie Deane arrives with his Regiment.
In the background, Roy Rigby Jones and Mary Esau.
Robin Hues and Fred Godwin
