The Royal Westminster Regiment Historical Society and Museum


The Regimental Museum is located in the Armoury situated at 530 Queens Ave New Westminster BC. It is normally open on Tuesday and Thursday's from 11am to 3pm. Presentation of Colours

This fourteen page brochure was for the Presentation of Colours to The British Columbia Dragoons and The Royal Westminster Regiment in Victoria on 19 May 1967. On parade were the 1st Battalion The Queen's Own Rifles of Canada. Click here.

The Royal Westminster Regiment 1863 to 1988

Former CO of the Regiment, Fred Wilks produced a 70 page history book of the Regiment for the 125th Anniversary in 1988. His book has been scanned and placed on the web site for viewing. To enjoy this great book Click Here.

Westminster War Diary

The Westminster War Diary is now on line to read. The book was published in the 1960's and has been out of print. The author, Jim Oldfield, gladly gave permission to have it placed on the web site.
